Teacher of the Week: Launtia Dallas of Clark Elementary

Global Teaching Partners

Launtia Dallas, honored as Vance County Schools' 'Beginning Teacher of the Year' and WRAL Teacher of the Week, brings 17 years of teaching experience from Jamaica.

Earlier this year, Launtia Dallas was honored by Vance County Schools with ‘Beginning Teacher of the Year’ and, more recently, has been selected as WRAL Teacher of the Week!

Launtia started her career in Jamaica, where she was born, and taught for 17 years before being recruited by Global Teaching Partners to join Vance County Schools in 2021.
