What led you to become a Global Champion?
My personal journey as a learner and educator led me to want to be a Global Champion. Growing up in Colombia, I experienced the challenges of learning English and saw how language can open doors or limit opportunities. As an ESL teacher, I’ve made it my mission to help students break through those barriers, empowering them to connect with the world and realize their potential. Being a Global Champion allows me to advocate for more inclusive, equitable education and inspire students to become global citizens.
