Frequently Asked Questions About Your Application

How long does the application review process take?

The application review timeline varies based on several factors including document verification, interview scheduling, and school district hiring cycles. Most candidates move through initial review within 2-4 weeks, though complete placement can take several months. We recommend applying 6-12 months before your desired start date for the best opportunities.

What should I do if my application status hasn't changed?

Application processing times vary throughout the year. If your status hasn't updated after three weeks, please contact our recruitment team at applicants@globalteachingpartners.com. Include your application reference number and full name in your message.

Can I update documents after submitting my application?

Yes! If you need to update credentials, add recent teaching experience, or correct information on your application, contact us at applicants@globalteachingpartners.com. We'll evaluate your request and guide you through the update process if applicable.

What happens after I'm accepted into the candidate pool?

Once accepted, you'll work with our Candidate Development Manager to complete professional development requirements and prepare for district interviews. We'll create a candidate portfolio highlighting your qualifications and begin matching you with open teaching positions in our partner school districts.

Will I be notified at each stage of the application process?

Absolutely. We provide regular communication throughout your application journey. You'll receive email notifications when your application status changes, when documents are needed, when interviews are scheduled, and when district placement opportunities arise.

What if I'm not selected for the current school year?

Candidates who are accepted into Global Teaching Partners' candidate pool but not hired during their first year of eligibility are typically still considered for employment in subsequent school years. We encourage you to stay engaged with our team and keep your credentials current.
