“Being part of Global Teaching Partners has given me the opportunity to make so many of my dreams become a reality. I want to generate in my students the same curiosity that made me go out of my country, Colombia, and live this experience.”
César is from the small, beautiful coastal city of Barranquilla in Colombia, South America. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Languages from Universidad del Atlántico in Barranquilla. There, he met his wife, Maria, and they decided to study together for a Masters degree in Neuropsychology and Education from the Universidad Internacional de La Rioja in Spain.
César has a deep love for his cultural origin and language. Since arriving in the U.S., he has been sharing the beauty of his Colombian culture with his students as well as with those in other schools he has had the opportunity to visit. He also loves spending time with his supportive family, and has especially valued his first experience at an NBA game, watching Cirque du Soleil live, attending a WWE event, and so much more that has made this opportunity the time of their lives.
Teaching is one of César’s passions, and being able to teach his mother tongue to his students pushes him to constantly strive to do his best!
