Global Teaching Partner’s Educator of the Year

Jun 21, 2021 | News, Teachers

Global Teaching Partners would like to recognize Mr. Tashon-Don Muschette, an outstanding Science teacher from Elizabeth City Pasquotank County Schools (ECPPS) as our Global Educator of the Year.

Originally from Manchester, Jamaica, he recently completed his second year as an 8th Grade Science teacher at Elizabeth City Middle School. Mr. Muschette was chosen as the Educator of the Year for his commitment to Elizabeth City Middle School, ECPPS, his local community and to our shared mission of uniting our world through global learning. Mr. Muschette is truly an ambassador to the country of Jamaica, teaching students and his peer faculty not only about the values of learning Science education, but also the merits of cultural exchange and the world around us.

He considers it an honor to give back to the community, serving food at the local food back to provide to those in need and always being the first to raise his hand to offer help. When new international teachers arrive in Elizabeth City, Mr. Muschette is the first in line to offer assistance, assisting new educators in making the transition to working and living in a new country. His positive attitude is addictive, as he is loved by his friends, family, community and the Global family.

Mr. Muschette is a worthy winner of this award and we are proud to have him as the 2020-2021 Global Educator of the Year.
