Jill Ann Marcelo is originally from Manila, Philippines. She is currently teaching at George Watts Montessori Magnet School in Durham, North Carolina. Ms. Marcelo has been teaching for 14 years and is honored to be able to continue to do what she loves here in the U.S. She enjoys exploring Durham and the surrounding areas by attending museums and visiting local restaurants.
Jill has a love for traveling and spends her free time exploring North Carolina’s beaches and mountains. She has also traveled to New York and Philadelphia during her time in the US. Being a teacher in the US has broadened her perspective on life and made her appreciate the opportunities she has been given. She is proud to be a Global teacher and be able to teach the minds, touch the hearts, and transform the lives of her students!
