Ornella Moreyra is originally from El Colorado, Formosa in Argentina. She is currently teaching at Southeast Middle School in Rowan-Salisbury County as an ESL teacher. She grew up seeing her mother and other family members as teachers, and their commitment to education is what inspired her to be an educator herself.
Ms. Moreyra was also inspired by her high school teachers, who demonstrated how she could use her passion for knowledge and turn it into a career. Here in the U.S., she enjoys spending time outside going on hikes and trying new foods.
Ornella has traveled to Seattle, New York, and Washington and enjoys reading, watching movies, and hanging out with her friends. Above all, she loves sharing her culture with her students and colleagues here in the U.S. She is proud to be a Global Educator and is grateful for the opportunity to grow personally and professionally!
