Bring World-Class International Educators to Your District

Global Educators are paid on the same salary scale as your U.S. teachers, determined by their education level and experience according to your district's existing pay structure. An annual district fee is determined when signing a district agreement with Global Teaching Partners.

Global Educators enter on J-1 Cultural Exchange Visas valid for three years with a possible two-year extension, allowing up to five years total. Educators are hired on year-to-year contracts based on successful classroom performance and your district's continued need. After completing their program, educators return home to share their U.S. educational experiences.

All Global Educators hold the equivalent of a U.S. Bachelor's degree in education or their subject area, plus a minimum of two years of post-degree full-time teaching experience. They undergo rigorous interviews, credential evaluations, background checks, and must meet your state's teaching eligibility standards before placement.

We provide comprehensive support including: J-1 Visa sponsorship, teaching license processing, housing assistance coordination, professional orientation, Educator Success Coaches who conduct regular school visits, Transitional Advisors for cultural adjustment, ongoing professional development through TalentLMS, and a Global Champions mentorship network. Our headquarters in Research Triangle Park, NC enables consistent, accessible support.

We primarily recruit educators for partner school districts in North Carolina and are also authorized to provide placements in South Carolina and Virginia. Our strategic focus on these regions allows us to maintain the high-quality, accessible support system.
